O Mary, rejoicing you came to the tomb of the Redeemer, and you were the first to perceive the divine resurrection. Then you became an Evangelist, crying out, “Christ has risen! Μακάριοι οἱ δεδιωγμένοι ἕνεκεν δικαιοσύνης, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ Βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.	Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [RSV]

Διασῴζει με Λόγος, ὁ σαρκωθεὶς Πάναγνε, σοῦ ἐκ τῶν πανάγνων αἱμάτων, πλούτῳ χρηστότητος, λύων ἀπόφασιν, τῆς παλαιᾶς καταδίκης, ὃν ἀπαύστως αἴτησαι, σῶσαι τὴν ποίμνην σου.	O all-pure Virgin, in the abundance of His kindness, the Logos who became incarnate of your all-pure blood, rescues me, by repealing the sentence of the ancient condemnation. O all-blameless Theotokos, you are likened to a spiritual sanctuary, an untouchable mercy-seat, a glowing lampstand, and a bridge that leads to God those who extol you as the Mother of God. [GOASD]

It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of a share in the crop. If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material things? If others share this rightful claim upon you, do not we still more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ. [RSV]

Τὴν τιμιωτέραν τῶν Χερουβεὶμ καὶ ἐνδοξοτέραν ἀσυγκρίτως τῶν Σεραφείμ, τὴν ἀδιαφθόρως Θεὸν Λόγον τεκοῦσαν, τὴν ὄντως Θεοτόκον, σὲ μεγαλύνομεν.	It is truly right to bless you, Theotokos, ever blessed, most pure, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Logos. We magnify you, the true Theotokos.

May Christ our true God, through the intercessions of His all-pure and all-immaculate holy Mother, the power of the precious and life-giving Cross, the protection of the honorable, bodiless powers of heaven, the supplications of the honorable, glorious prophet and forerunner John the Baptist, of the holy, glorious, and praiseworthy apostles, of the holy, glorious, and triumphant martyrs, of our righteous and God-bearing fathers, (local patron saint); of the holy and righteous ancestors of God Joachim and Anna, the holy Myrrh-bearer and Equal to the Apostles, Mary Magdalene, whose memory we observe, and of all the saints, have mercy on us and save us, as He is good, benevolent, and merciful God.
