Against You only have I sinned and done evil in Your sight; that You may be justified in Your words, and overcome when You are judged. For behold, I was conceived in transgressions, and in sins my mother bore me. Behold, You love truth; You showed me the unknown and secret things of Your wisdom. Διπλῆν τὴν χάριν εἰληφὼς παρὰ τοῦ Πνεύματος, Προφήτης ὤφθης θαυμαστὸς πᾶσι τοῖς πέρασι, τοὺς ὑμνοῦντάς σε λυτρούμενος ἐκ κινδύνων, καὶ δωρούμενος τὴν χάριν τῶν θαυμάτων σου, τοῖς προστρέχουσιν ἐν ταύτῃ μετὰ πίστεως, καὶ βοῶσί σοι· Χαίροις Προφῆτα θεσπέσιε.	Since you received the Spirit’s grace in double measure, * you have appeared to all as wonderful Prophet, * for you rescue out of danger those who sing your praises, * and give out gifts of miracles you do by grace * to the people who rely on it with ardent faith, * and who salute you and say, “Rejoice, O Prophet inspired by God!” [SD]

Ἥλιος καταλάμψας, ὁ τῆς δικαιοσύνης, ἐν τῇ πεφωτισμένῃ ψυχῇ σου, ἀπεδίωξε πᾶσαν ἀχλὺν ἁμαρτίας ἐξ αὐτῆς, καὶ Θεοῦ ἔδειξε Προφήτην σε φαιδρότατον· ἐντεῦθεν καὶ ἡμεῖς κράζομεν οὕτως·	When the Sun of Righteous brightly shone in your illumined soul, it dispelled from it all the mist of sin, and He showed you to be a most brilliant Prophet. And ever since, we raise our voices and salute you. [SD]
Χαῖρε, Θεοῦ ὁ μηδὲν προτιμήσας· χαῖρε, βοῶν κατασφάξας τὰ ζεύγη.	Rejoice! You preferred nothing over God. Rejoice! You slaughtered the yoke of oxen.
Χαῖρε, ὁ καταλείψας τὸν βίον σου ἅπαντα· χαῖρε, ὁ πλουτήσας τὸν πλοῦτον τὸν ἄσυλον.	Rejoice! You left behind your entire life. Rejoice! You acquired a secure wealth of grace.
Χαῖρε, ὅτι ἠκολούθησας τῷ καλέσαντι Θεῷ· χαῖρε, ὅτι νῦν ἀπείληφας παρʼ αὐτοῦ τὰς δωρεάς.	Rejoice! You followed God when He called you. Rejoice! You now enjoy the gifts He gave you
Χαῖρε, ὅτι τὴν μηλωτὴν Ἠλιοὺ ἐκομίσω· χαῖρε, ὅτι ἐν τάχει διασχίζεις τὸ ὕδωρ.	Rejoice! You obtained the Elijah’s mantle. Rejoice! You at once parted the river.
Χαῖρε, περῶν ἀβρόχως τὰ ὕδατα· χαῖρε, ψυχῶν πολλῶν ὁ ἐπίκουρος.	Rejoice! You crossed the water without getting wet. Rejoice! You are the guardian of many souls.
Χαῖρε, μαθὼν τὴν ἀπόκρυφον γνῶσιν· χαῖρε, θανὼν καὶ ὡς ζῶν ἐποπτεύων.	Rejoice! You were given the knowledge of secrets. Rejoice! Dead or alive, you still oversee us.
