If You, O Lord, should mark transgression, O Lord, who would stand? For there is forgiveness with You. [SAAS]

As they heard the Angel’s joyful words, * Christ’s women disciples were filled with divine and sacred joy. * Thus they were made certain of the resurrection of Him, * who for us was counted among * the dead, and for whom they * previously as Myrrh-bearers had lamented and mourned, * standing near the tomb; and they wondered * who would move the stone, and they looked up, * suddenly the stone was rolled away for them. Verse: I lift my eyes to You, who dwell in heaven. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hands of their masters, as the eyes of the maidservant look to the hands of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God until He shall have compassion on us. [SAAS]

Let us join the Archangels and extol the Resurrection of Christ. He is the Redeemer and Savior of our souls; and He will come again, in awesome glory and mighty power, to judge the world which He created. [GOASD]
