The Angel who had come to the sepulcher said to the Myrrh-bearing women, “Ointments are appropriate for mortal men; but Christ is indeed a stranger to decay. Ὡς κύματα θαλάσσης ἐπʼ ἐμὲ ἐπανέστησαν αἱ ἀνομίαι μου, ὡς σκάφος ἐν πελάγει ἐγὼ μόνος χειμάζομαι, ὑπὸ πταισμάτων πολλῶν· ἀλλʼ εἰς εὔδιον λιμένα ὁδήγησόν με Κύριε, διὰ τῆς μετανοίας καὶ σῶσόν με.	My transgressions are like waves that crash against me, and my many offences agitate me, as if I were alone in a boat on the high seas. I pray You lead me through repentance to a tranquil harbor, O Lord, and save me. [GOASD]

Σὲ τὸν περιβάλλοντα, τὸν οὐρανὸν ἐν νεφέλαις, ἔχοντες οἱ Ἅγιοι, περιβολὴν ἐν τῷ κόσμῳ, τὰς βασάνους τῶν ἀνόμων ὑπέμειναν, καὶ τὴν πλάνην τῶν εἰδώλων κατήργησαν· αὐτῶν ταῖς ἱκεσίαις, καὶ ἡμᾶς ἐλευθέρωσον, τοῦ ἀοράτου ἐχθροῦ Σωτήρ, καὶ σῶσον ἡμᾶς.	The holy Martyrs had You, who covers heaven with clouds, as a cover in the world, and thus they endured when the villains tortured them, and they negated idolatry. By their intercessions for us, O Savior, free us from the unseen enemy and save us. [GOASD]

Against You only have I sinned and done evil in Your sight; that You may be justified in Your words, and overcome when You are judged. Τῶν Μαρτύρων σύναθλος, ἀναδειχθεὶς καὶ ὁπλίτης, στρατιώτης ἄριστος, τοῦ Βασιλέως τῆς δόξης, γέγονας διὰ βασάνων καὶ τιμωρίας, ἔπαρσιν εἰδωλολατρῶν καταπατήσας· διὰ τοῦτο τὴν σεπτήν σου, ὑμνοῦμεν μνήμην σοφὲ Θαλλέλαιε.	In your struggles you equaled the greatest of the martyrs ⁄ as a perfect soldier at the service of the King of glory! ⁄ By the sufferings and tortures you endured, ⁄ you brought low the insolence of the worshippers of idols. ⁄⁄ Therefore we praise your blessed memory, Thallaleus the physician! Τῇ Κʹ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνὸς μνήμη τοῦ Ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Θαλλελαίου.	On May 20 we commemorate the holy Martyr Thalleleos.
Μνήμη τοῦ Ἁγίου Μάρτυρος Ἀσκλᾶ, ὅστις, ἐν ποταμῷ ῥιφείς, τελειοῦται.	We also commemorate the holy Martyr Asclas who died when he was cast into a river.
Οἱ τρεῖς ὅσιοι καὶ θεοφόροι Πατέρες ἡμῶν Νικήτας, Ἰωάννης καὶ Ἰωσήφ, οἱ κτίτορες τῆς ἐν Χίῳ ἱερᾶς καὶ βασιλικῆς Νέας Μονῆς, ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦνται.	Our three devout and God-bearing Fathers Niketas, John, and Joseph, Founders of the sacred and royal New Monastery (that is, Nea Moni) on Chios, reposed in peace.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἡ ἀνακομιδὴ καὶ μετακομιδὴ τοῦ λειψάνου τοῦ ἐν ἁγίοις Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Νικολάου Μύρων τῆς Λυκίας τοῦ θαυματουργοῦ.	On this day was the removal and transfer of the relic of our Father among the Saints Nicholas, bishop of Myra in Lycia, the wonder-worker.
