Now let Habakkuk as a God-inspired prophet stand with us, * keeping his divine watch, and show us * the angelic messenger, who, shining, utters glowingly, * “Today, for the world is salvation,* because arisen is Christ, being omnipotent.” [SD]

Glory to Your holy Resurrection, O Lord.

Christ, our veritable Pascha, is the fulfillment of the Law; therefore He appeared as a male having opened the virgin womb; He has been called a Lamb as being edible; unblemished, as without stain; and He is said to be perfect, being very God. [SD]

Glory to Your holy Resurrection, O Lord.

The Savior Christ, the crown of goodness who is ever blest by us, willingly was sacrificed for all as a year old paschal lamb, our Passover that cleanses us. And from the sepulcher now the handsome Sun of Righteousness for us has shone again. [SD]

Before the Ark, which was a shadow of old, the forebear of God David leapt and danced. As we see the types fulfilled, correspondingly let us also, as God’s holy people, rejoice in godly manner, because arisen is Christ, being omnipotent. [SD]

Saints of God, intercede for us.

Beholding Your measureless compassion, the souls below that were held by the shackles and bonds of Hades pressing forward hastened to the light with feet exultant, O Christ, applauding the Pascha that never ends. [SD]

But then, how amazing was your miraculous appearance, your strange discovery, and your abundant grace! For not so long ago, your relics came up from the earth, like fragrant flowers and divine treasures that are cherished throughout the world, filled with gifts and grace of martyrdom. You amazingly appear in wakeful visions and in dreams, face to face to many people near and far. On May 7 we commemorate the Appearance of the Sign of the Precious Cross in the sky, during the reign of the Emperor Constantius, son of Saint Constantine the Great, when Cyril was Archbishop of Jerusalem.

On Tuesday of Bright and Renewal Week, we celebrate the memory of the holy, glorious, newly-appearing and wonder-working devout monastic Martyrs, Raphael and Nicholas, and the holy virgin Martyr Irene, and the others who along with them endured martyrdom, on April 9, 1463, which that year was Bright Tuesday, in the ancient Monastery of Karyes, which is located near Thermi on the Greek island of Lesbos. These saints were miraculously revealed to us in the year 1959.

Today a sacred Pascha has been revealed to us; a Pascha new and holy, a Pascha mystical, a Pascha all-venerable, Pascha, the Redeemer Christ himself; a Pascha that is blameless, a Pascha that is great, a Pascha of believers, a Pascha that has opened for us the gates of Paradise, a Pascha that sanctifies believers all. Again we pray for pious and Orthodox Christians.

Again we pray for our Archbishop (name).

Again we pray for our brethren: the priests, the hieromonks, the deacons, the monastics, and all our brotherhood in Christ.

Again we pray for mercy, life, peace, health, salvation, protection, forgiveness, and remission of the sins of the servants of God, all pious Orthodox Christians residing and visiting in this city: the parishioners, the members of the parish council, the stewards, and benefactors of this holy church.

Again we pray for the blessed and ever-memorable founders of this holy church, and for all our fathers and brethren who have fallen asleep before us, who here have been piously laid to their rest, as well as the Orthodox everywhere.

Again we pray for those who bear fruit and do good works in this holy and all-venerable church, for those who labor and those who sing, and for the people here present who await Your great and rich mercy.

For You are merciful and benevolent God, and to You we offer up glory, to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and to the ages of ages.

That the whole day may be perfect, holy, peaceful, and sinless, let us ask the Lord.

Grant this, O Lord.

For an angel of peace, a faithful guide, a guardian of our souls and bodies, let us ask the Lord.

For pardon and remission of our sins and transgressions, let us ask the Lord.

For that which is good and beneficial for our souls, and for peace for the world, let us ask the Lord.

That we may complete the remaining time of our life in peace and repentance, let us ask the Lord.

And let us ask for a Christian end to our life, peaceful, without shame and suffering, and for a good defense before the awesome judgment seat of Christ.

Remembering our all-holy, immaculate, most blessed, and glorious Lady, the Theotokos and ever-virgin Mary, with all the saints, let us commend ourselves and one another and our whole life to Christ our God.

Holy Lord, who dwell in the highest and look upon the humble and observe all creation with Your all-seeing eye, to You we bow the neck of soul and body, and we pray You, Holy of holies: Extend Your invisible hand from Your holy heavens and bless us all. And as good and benevolent God, forgive us any misdeeds we committed voluntarily or involuntarily, and grant us Your blessings in this world and in the next.
