Fulfilling what David prophesied, Christ revealed His greatness to the Disciples in Zion, showing himself to be the One who is ever praised and glorified with the Father and the Holy Spirit, in the beginning as discarnate Logos, then later, incarnate for us, and dying as man, and rising with power, as benevolent God. [GOASD]

Because of Your law, O Lord, I waited for You; my soul waited for Your word. My soul hopes in the Lord. [SAAS]

You descended into Hades, as You so willed, O Christ, and You divested death of spoils, as God and Master. You rose on the third day, and with yourself You resurrected Adam from the bonds of Hades and dissolution. When thrones are put in place, when books are opened, when God sits in judgment, oh, what fear there will be then! When the Angels stand attending Him in fear, when the river of fire is flowing, what will we do then, we people guilty of so many sins? When we hear Him inviting the blessed of His Father to inherit the kingdom, and sending sinners away to punishment, who will be ready to face that terrifying verdict? O King of the ages and only Savior who love humanity, I implore You: Before the end comes, turn me through repentance and have mercy on me. [GOASD]

The evidence of what you did will be presented, your own actions will accuse you and condemn you. O my soul, it is almost time. So run before it is too late, and in faith cry out, “I have sinned, O Lord, I have sinned against You. But I know Your compassion, O benevolent God.
