O God-bearer Nicholas Planas, from earliest age * you loved Christ the God of all, and in your soul you received * the calling, all-blessed one. * Father, once you accepted * to wear the grace of the priesthood, * throughout your life you served Him in a God-inspired manner. * We pray that you will ever entreat Him on our behalf. The hope of the humble, O Virgin Mother of God: * you recognized that Nicholas possessed a Christ-loving soul * from earliest childhood. * Maternally you stood by him and provided protection, * obtaining for him the grace of your Son and our Savior. * And now you receive him as a Saint in the kingdom of Christ. In every nation, time and age, God has never left His divine glory and divinity without witness. Together with the saints who are on His earth, He glorified Nicholas Planas. And He has given him to us as an intercessor, a father, and ardent helper in times of need. [SD]

Angels came down from heaven and received your soul, O Father Nicholas Planas. Recognizing it to be angelic, even if on earth it wore flesh, they rejoiced. And they glorified and extolled Christ the King of all, and shouted: Praise is due to You our God. [SD]
