Θεὸς Κύριος καὶ ἐπέφανεν ἡμῖν. Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι Κυρίου.	God is the Lord, and He revealed Himself to us. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. [SAAS]

Ἐν σοὶ Μῆτερ ἀκριβῶς διεσώθη τὸ κατʼ εἰκόνα· λαβοῦσα γὰρ τὸν σταυρόν, ἠκολούθησας τῷ Χριστῷ, καὶ πράττουσα ἐδίδασκες ὑπερορᾶν μὲν σαρκὸς παρέρχεται γάρ, ἐπιμελεῖσθαι δὲ ψυχῆς, πράγματος ἀθανάτου· διὸ καὶ μετὰ Ἀγγέλων συναγάλλεται Ὁσία Εὐδοκία, τὸ πνεῦμά σου.	In you, O Mother, is preserved undistorted what was made in the image of God; for taking up the cross, you followed Christ and by example taught, that we should overlook the flesh, since it passes away, and instead look after the soul, since it is immortal. And therefore, O devout Evdokia, your spirit rejoices with the angels. [SD]

Τὸν ἀμνὸν καὶ ποιμένα καὶ Σωτῆρα τοῦ κόσμου, ἐν τῷ Σταυρῷ θεωροῦσα, ἡ τεκοῦσα ἔλεγε δακρύουσα· ὁ μὲν κόσμος ἀγάλλεται, δεχόμενος τὴν λύτρωσιν, τὰ δὲ σπλάγχνα μου φλέγονται, ὁρώσης σου τὴν σταύρωσιν, ἣν ὑπὲρ πάντων ὑπομένεις, ὁ Υἱὸς καὶ Θεός μου.	When the Mother of the Lamb and Shepherd and Savior of the world saw Him on the Cross, she uttered tearfully, “The world rejoices at receiving redemption, but my insides are burning as I see Your crucifixion, which You endure for all, O my Son and my God.” [SD]

The Place of the Skull became Paradise; for once the tree of the Cross was planted there, immediately it blossomed the grape cluster of life, namely You, O Savior, to gladden our hearts. Στίχ. Ὑψοῦτε Κύριον τὸν Θεὸν ἡμῶν καὶ προσκυνεῖτε τῷ ὑποποδίῳ τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἅγιός ἐστι.	Verse: Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at the footstool of His feet; for He is holy.

Τὸ ξύλον τοῦ Σταυροῦ σου, Σωτὴρ ἡμῶν, τοῦ κόσμου ἀνεδείχθη σωτήριον· ἐν αὐτῷ γὰρ βουλήσει προσηλωθείς, τῆς κατάρας ἐῤῥύσω τοὺς γηγενεῖς, ἡ πάντων ζωή. Κύριε δόξα σοι.	O Savior, the tree of Your Cross became the salvation of the world. For You were willingly nailed to it, and thus You delivered us born on earth from the curse, O Life of all. Glory to You, O Lord. As she stood near the Cross of the Lord on Golgotha * and lamented, the Mother of God cried out to Him, * “Woe is me! O Son and God, the sweetest light of my eyes! * Now stretched out on a cross are You who long ago as God * stretched out the heavens like a curtain, * and brought out fountains of waters * from the sea, by Your ordinance!” [GOASD]

Λάμπει σήμερον ἡ μνήμη τῶν Ἀθλοφόρων· ἔχει γὰρ καὶ οὐρανόθεν ἀπαύγασμα· ὁ χορὸς τῶν Ἀγγέλων πανηγυρίζει, καὶ τῶν ἀνθρώπων τὸ γένος συνεορτάζει· διὸ πρεσβεύουσι τῷ Κυρίῳ, ἐλεηθῆναι τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν.	The medaled Martyrs’ commemoration is splendid today, for it is illumined with a heavenly light. The chorus of Angels is celebrating, and the human race is also observing the feast. Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ, μνήμη τῆς Ἁγίας Δομνίνης, καὶ τῶν σὺν αὐτῇ.	On this day we also commemorate Saint Domnina and those with her.
