For the love of God, you regarded passing wealth and fleeting glory, and all the pleasures of the world to be but a dream. You took up the Cross of Christ and followed Him in martyrdom. You disregarded the frailty of your body, and showed yourself to be stronger than fire and steel. And being helped from on high, you triumphed over all the power of the enemy.
