Χρηστότητα ἐκδιδαχθείς, καὶ νήφων ἐν πᾶσιν, ἀγαθὴν συνείδησιν ἱεροπρεπῶς ἐνδυσάμενος, ἤντλησας ἐκ τοῦ Σκεύους τῆς ἐκλογῆς τὰ ἀπόῤῥητα· καὶ τὴν πίστιν τηρήσας, τὸν ἴσον δρόμον τετέλεκας, Ἀπόστολε Τιμόθεε. Ὁ Μάρτυς σου Κύριε, ἐν τῇ ἀθλήσει αὐτοῦ, τὸ στέφος ἐκομίσατο τῆς ἀφθαρσίας, ἐκ σοῦ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἡμῶν· ἔχων γὰρ τὴν ἰσχύν σου, τοὺς τυράννους καθεῖλεν· ἔθραυσε καὶ δαιμόνων, τὰ ἀνίσχυρα θράση, αὐτοῦ ταῖς ἱκεσίαις Χριστέ, σῶσον τὰς ψυχὰς ἡμῶν. Τῇ ἀνατραφείσῃ ἐν τῷ Ναῷ, εἰς τὰ Ἅγια τῶν Ἁγίων, τῇ περιβεβλημένῃ τὴν πίστιν καὶ τὴν σοφίαν, καὶ τὴν ἄμεμπτον παρθενίαν, ὁ Ἀρχιστράτηγος Γαβριήλ, προσέφερεν οὐρανόθεν, τὸν ἀσπασμὸν καὶ τὸ χαῖρε. Χαῖρε εὐλογημένη, χαῖρε δεδοξασμένη, ὁ Κύριος μετὰ σοῦ.	To you who were raised in the Temple, in the Holy of Holies, and who were clothed in faith and wisdom and measureless virginity, the Supreme Commander Gabriel from heaven brought the salutation, “Rejoice”; “Rejoice, O blessed Maiden! Rejoice, O glorified one! The Lord is with you.” [SD]

O Lord, I beg You look at my low condition with a compassionate expression. For my life is passing little by little, and I have not done anything to merit salvation. Ὡς τοῦ Κριτοῦ παρόντος, μερίμνησον ψυχή, καὶ τῆς φρικτῆς ἡμέρας, τὴν ὥραν ἐννοοῦ· ἡ γὰρ κρίσις ἀνίλεώς ἐστι, τοῖς μὴ πράξασιν ἔλεος· διὸ πρὸ τέλους βόησον· Φεῖσαί μου Σωτήρ, μόνος γὰρ ὑπάρχεις φιλάνθρωπος.	As if the Judge were present, be anxious, O my soul, and keep in mind the thought of the hour of that fearful day. For the judgment is merciless to those who showed no mercy. Φωτὶ οὐρανίῳ καταλάμπεται, σήμερον αὕτη ἡ σκηνή· ἐν αὐτῇ γὰρ στρατιαί, Ἀγγέλων ἀγάλλονται, σὺν αὐταῖς καὶ δικαίων, χοροὶ εὐφραίνονται, ἐπὶ τῇ μνήμῃ τῶν Ἀθλοφόρων. For herein do the armies of Angels greatly rejoice, and with them the hosts of the Righteous are cheerful, as the victorious Martyrs are commemorated.
