Let all of us extol Athanasius and Cyril * with worthy hymns of praise, as divine faithful servants * of the Holy Trinity and as champions of the Faith. * In the depths of their correct and pious perceptions * they prodigiously submerged the gibbering army * of obstinate heretics. [SD]

Great and noble Hierarchs of Orthodoxy and courageous champions of the all-holy Church of Christ, watch over all those who sing to Him, “Save us, O Good One, who faithfully honor You.” [SD]

With Your incomprehensible hand and Your ineffable might, now making the Church heavenly, You showed the two lights, grand and resplendent, indeed to be bright, illumining the world, the all-wise Athanasios and Cyril the divine.
