Ἐπὶ τοῦ ὄρους μετεμορφώθης, καὶ ὡς ἐχώρουν οἱ Μαθηταί σου τὴν δόξαν σου, Χριστὲ ὁ Θεὸς ἐθεάσαντο, ἵνα ὅταν σε ἴδωσι σταυρούμενον, τὸ μὲν πάθος νοήσωσιν ἑκούσιον, τῷ δὲ κόσμῳ κηρύξωσιν, ὅτι σὺ ὑπάρχεις ἀληθῶς, τοῦ Πατρὸς τὸ ἀπαύγασμα.	Upon the mountain were You transfigured, and Your disciples beheld Your glory as far as they were able, O Christ our God; so that when they would see You crucified they might understand that Your Passion was deliberate, and declare to the world that in truth You are the Father's radiance. Τῇ Ηʹ τοῦ αὐτοῦ μηνός μνήμη τοῦ ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Αἰμιλιανοῦ, Ἐπισκόπου Κυζίκου, τοῦ Ὁμολογητοῦ.	On August 8 we commemorate our devout Father Emilian the Confessor, Bishop of Cyzicus.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Μύρωνος, Ἐπισκόπου Κρήτης, τοῦ Θαυματουργοῦ.	On this day we commemorate Saint Myron the Wonderworker Bishop of Crete.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τοῦ ὁσίου Πατρὸς ἡμῶν Θεοδοςίου, Ἡγουμένου Ὀρόβων.	On this day we also commemorate our devout father Theodosios, Abbot of the Monastery of Orovon.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ μνήμη τῶν ἁγίων Μαρτύρων Ἐλευθερίου, Λεωνίδου, καὶ τῶν νηπίων διὰ πυρὸς τελειωθέντων.	On this day we also commemorate the holy Martyrs Eleftherios, Leonidas, and the children with them who died by fire.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ οἱ ἅγιοι δέκα Ἀσκηταί, οἱ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, ἐν εἰρήνῃ τελειοῦνται.	On this day ten holy Ascetics from Egypt died in peace.
Τῇ αὐτῇ ἡμέρᾳ οἱ ἅγιοι δύο Μάρτυρες οἱ ἐκ Τύρου, κατὰ γῆς συρόμενοι, τελειοῦνται.	On this day the two holy Martyrs from Tyre died by being dragged on the ground.
Μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Νεομάρτυρος Τριανταφύλλου, τοῦ ἐκ Ζαγορᾶς μὲν τῆς Μαγνησίας καταγομένου, ἐν Κωνσταντινουπόλει δὲ μαρτυρήσαντος ἐν ἔτει ͵αχπʹ (1680).	We also commemorate the holy Neo-martyr Triandafillos from Zagora in Magnesia who witnessed in Constantinople in the year 1680.
Μνήμη τοῦ ἁγίου Νεομάρτυρος Ἀναστασίου, τοῦ ἐν Θεσσαλονίκῃ μαρτυρήσαντος ἐν ἔτει ͵αψϞδʹ (1794).	We also commemorate the holy Neo-martyr Anastasios who witnessed in Thessaloniki in the year 1794.
